Lloyd’s posts record profit

By Don | April 11, 2008

This video from Nigel Cassidy with the BBC shows how last years fewer catastrophic events brought Lloyd’s of London a rise in 2007 profits.

Lloyd’s is the world’s leading insurance market - providing specialist insurance services to businesses in over 200 countries and territories. Lloyd’s is not a single insurance company; it is a market place where insurance and reinsurance risks are underwritten by syndicates of underwriting members. In 2008,  75 syndicates are underwriting insurance at Lloyd’s.
