Colorado Wants To Create Health Care Comparison Site

By Don | April 11, 2008

Terry Jessup reports in this video.

Colorado lawmakers are now considering a new bill that will make it law that health care insurance companies provide a comparisons of plans.

The state would maintain a comparison Web site to look at plans side by side.

Recent Addition comments: having a place for consumers to compare insurance policies side by side would be a step in the right direction. However, what are the chances that consumers would actually visit the site? HR directors for large corporations might use it as a reference point, but would Joe Consumer use this on an individual basis? Would it be written in a format that consumers could easily understand?
